This property has large deposits of Donnybrook sandstone on it. There are two existing quarry sites in use
and another site has just been opened up with stone removed for interested buyer’s to view. The property has an extractive industry licence that is valid until 2024. The curent owners have in the past turned the big blocks into tiles that are used as floor or wall
tiles.
Some examples of where the tiles have been used to great effect are Federation Square
and St Mary’s Cathedral. Waste product is used to build internal or external feature walls and could also be crushed and used as road base. The remainder of the farm is used to graze cattle on.
