Here are some figures they have gathered over the years;
A small section of the grove was harvested a few years ago and yielded 18% oil. 13-15% is recognised as being reasonable.
They have harvested between 70 – 100kgs of olives per tree. 30-40kgs per tree is recognised as reasonable.
It takes approx. 4 days for a machine to harvest the olives.
