Walkerville on the South Gippsland Coastline in Victoria is a rare location where only a very few people have the privilege of property ownership.

Set on the side of a hill with panoramic views that do not require an artificial zoom lens or binoculars to appreciate the water view across Waratah Bay. The majestic world class Wilson’s Promontory National Park is the backdrop of this most serene tapestry of nature at its best.

Whales are regular visitors to the bay and can be seen playing from the shoreline and from the houses that sit above the bay.

You will not find much in the way of tourism promotion of Walkerville because there are not trendy cafes or boutique shopping. The beaches do not even have much in the way of car parking. Hence, Walkerville is much the same today as it was 80 years ago.

Walkerville is well suited to those who appreciate quiet, privacy and the natural environment.

The home that is on offer for sale is around five years old and is extremely well built. It is sited on the front row just above the beach. The large and natural parcel of land is at the end of a no through road and adjacent to a native reserve.

The home has two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms each and a separate powder room is near the back door. The open plan kitchen, living and dining rooms all have large water views, as do the bedrooms and balconies. A separate reading or retreat room has its own balcony and views.

A deck area to the back of the home is close to the well equipped workshop.

Agents comment: After entering the home for the first time my immediate thought was: “If you can afford to buy it, why would you not?”
