A Little History:
The St James Anglican Church Hill End has been in operation for over a hundred years with the building having been re-built in approximately 1940 and has been loved and cared for by a small but faithful congregation from its beginning to current date. The deconsecration of the Church took place just recently in March 2014. The large hall standing side by side with the Church was originally the Commonwealth Bank building in Moe. The bank was to be replaced and so it happened that the Church purchased the original building relocating it to this site in approximately 1964 for the purpose of Sunday school for the children.
