The Oval’ is predominently used for seed production, breeding fat lambs and cropping.
Situated approximately 35 kms North East from the township of Naracoorte. A large country town in the mid South East of South Australia which not only is known as the Hub’ of the South East with many excellent amenities including the Naracoorte Livestock Exchange which introduces livestock buyers but the vast array of Agricultural and Horticultural productions makes this area very popular.

The Skid Tow Pivot Irrigator for the Eastern Pivot Circle is interchangeable with the Western Pivot Circle and is 250m in length. The area watered is 19.6 ha (48.5 acres) with a flow rate of 28.5L/s (22,500GPH)
The Southern (fixed) Pivot Irrigator is 251m in length watering an area of 19.8 ha (48.9 acres) with a flow rate of 28.5L/s (22,500GPH). There is no end gun.
There are 2 x diesel turbine pump units. Cummins Custom Pak diesel engine fitted with full engine instrumentation and protection shutdown coupled to vertical turbine pump with Amarillo right angle drive gearbox.
Original timber is mainly Bull Oak plus a Reg Gum grazing swamp.
Heavy clay soils idealy suited to wheat legume rotations or irrigated white clover and lucerne for certified seed production, then heavy stocking capacity for summer / autumn irrigation and fat lamb production.
The Oval is fenced into 10 paddocks including irrigated circles, run-off paddocks and holding paddocks.
