For only the second time in the past 100 years, “Triangle Marsh” is to be sold.
This well known grazing property has over 5km frontage to the Ouse River and is dissected by Triangle Marsh Rivulet and Bashan Plains Rivulet and also has frontage to Boggy Plains Rivulet.
“Triangle Marsh” has approximately 1,500 acres of open grazing land made up of rich volcanic red soils with some well drained highland sands. Much of this would be arable. There is potential to greatly increase production with fertiliser and improved grasses.
The stands of native timber on the property have remained largely untouched. Despite many enquiries from timber merchants there has never been a commercial log removed from the property.
“Triangle Marsh” has always produced wonderful calves bred on the property but it would be invaluable as a relief block for an existing enterprise due to the abundance of feed on the property now and over the summer months. There is great potential to earn an income from the excellent hunting and fishing on the property.
This is genuinely a once in a lifetime opportunity.
