This cottage was built in 1900 and housed the general store, post office and bank which serviced the Claude Road community for many years.

Now a private residence it still retains many of its original charm and features including some split timber boards, an open fire place in the living room and another in a second sitting area. There is also a Tassie barrel wood heater to keep the home cosy and warm.

The out buildings include a large garage and shed/workshop, wood shed, hot house, chook pen and more.

Located in tranquil surroundings and less than ten minutes from Sheffield on the road to Cradle Mountain and Mt. Roland.

*School bus service for Sheffield and Devonport
*Peaceful surroundings in a close knit community
*15,000 litre concrete domestic water tank
*Wonderful views of Mt. Roland

This home would make a great base from which to explore the rest of the state, an inexpensive first home or maybe a lovely place to retire.
