M.V Barrangul – purchase on a ‘Walk in Walk out’ basis
At 25 metres in length, this is the longest boat on the Murray River. It is 8 metres wide and is fully EPA compliant.
The ‘M.V Barrangul’ has and is currently used as a licensed floating restaurant. It is licensed to carry up to 80 passengers plus crew, with a full bar license operational 365 days per year. It offers so many possibilities of use to the new owner; backpackers on the water, tours, floating restaurant, nightclub, or conference venue.
Or it could be easily converted to a residence on the water! Huge open space, good kitchen, walk-in pantry, walk-in coolroom and bathroom facilities: 2 x ladies toilets, 1 x mens and 1 shower.
New 3mm steel pontoons were fitted in 2010 and designed to take an upper deck if desired, capable of carrying a further 12 tons.
The boat is fully compliant with all regulations, surveyed annually, the last out of water survey was done in March 2015.
The ‘M.V Barrangul’ is powered by a Ford 3 litre 4 cylinder diesel motor with a 26 inch propeller. Also included is a 7kva generator plus dinghy with outboard motor.
