We custom built the house because a lot of courtyard size homes were not appealing to us. Most had small bedrooms, kitchen and living etc. We put a lot of thought into the layout of the home and although we wanted a courtyard size block for low maintenance, we didn’t want a courtyard feel to the home. We utilised as much space as we could to ensure that the house felt open and spacious and we built the house with a small boutique builder to make sure that our requirements were met. We built the house to live in and not as an investment. Therefore everything from the style of bricks to the large kitchen bench, walk-in pantry and higher end appliances were all chosen to meet a higher standard. Natural lighting was important to us and the courtyards and the end of the hallway provide a nice natural light to the house for the whole day. We have immensely enjoyed living in our home with our children. Our family will miss our home but will always have many wonderful memories. We wish the new owner many years of happiness.
