A delightful property perched high on the ridge with absolutely superb views right through to Lake Alexandrina. Good, productive, undulating country with an olde world garden around the homestead. The entire perimeter of the land offers brand new quality fencing with creosote posts, boundary cyclone a four barb. The boundary between the two titles has also been re-fenced, there is also some internal fencing.

TITLE 1 – Homestead Title – 28ha – 69.2 Acres

The homestead needs complete refurbishment and restoration. The original stone homestead circa 1847 comprised six main rooms; in the early 1950′s a kitchen, sunroom were added and three upstairs bedrooms. There is also a pantry store and a modernised bathroom. Furthermore the “quarters” consist of a separate 2-room cottage that has also been totally refurbished. There is also a second large bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity. The kitchen is well appointed with walk-in pantry, slow combustion Arga (oil fired) stove, double sink and there are plenty of cupboards, serving bench and dishwasher.

The original shingle roof is still evident and there is also an old blacksmith oven. Further up from the homestead is a 16m wide x 6m deep, 3-sided hip roof hay shed, with two adjoining lean-to sections. Further along is a very old, interesting timber and galvanised iron barn, which comprises the old two stand shearing shed, workshop and storage, tack room and what also appears to be an old pony stable. Once again further along is a 7m x 6m double garage, part besser brick and part timber which is built next to the original old underground storage tank. Next to this improvement are timber cattle yards, sheep yards, small stock shedding plus old fowl run, horse yard and stable. On the highest peak of the land is a new 30,000-gallon concrete tank with roof. This is fed by a new bore situated near the dam and is quoted at approximately 1,500-gallons per hour pumping into the header tank. There is also a mains water meter on this title.

The land is picturesque and further enhanced with Cyprus tree plantings, English tree plantings such as Ash and Oak trees.

TITLE 2 – 28.58ha – 70.62 Acres

Once again good, healthy, productive, undulating country dotted with large gums, two Oak trees as well as Cyprus plantings, and a large dam. Also a brand new colourbond three-sided shed measuring 36m x 12m x 4m high, complete with two 6,000-gallon PVC tanks. Power runs across the property, there are wonderful house sites with exceptional views, inclusive of extensive views to Lake Alexandrina and there is also bitumen road frontage.
