What a surprise to be invited to list this 2,530 m2 (about 2/3 acre) block hidden away behind an old Photinia hedge with brightly flowering red Poinsettia peeping over the top. Nothing could quite prepare us for this excellent, but overgrown block that has had just one owner for the past 30 years.

Areas of slashed grass compete with tall gum trees, some waving palms and half hidden ornamental plants including large camellias. There is even a gigantic Magnolia Grandiflora on the southern boundary which is thought to be about 50 years old. A multitude of birds evidently call this patch of wilderness home too. King Parrots, Rainbow Lorikeets, Crimson Rosellas and Pale Headed Rosellas are all part of the flock as well as the shy Satin Bower Birds and many other feathered songsters.

But “there’s more” as the good man used to say! This land offers an opportunity to have your own productive vegetable patch as well as a beautiful flower garden. Some of its attractions include:

- Very deep red volcanic soil
- Shared water bore with potable water
- Long side boundary facing just about due north
- Views to the Mountains from the top level of a double story home
- No close neighbours on 2 boundaries

AND the owners suggest that anyone interested in applying for Home Industry or some lower level Tourism venture would be well advised to talk with the Scenic Rim Council in person and check out their current planning regulations to discover what options may be available for business usage.

Come see this wilderness and listen to the birds.
You will want to build your haven here!
