WATER

COUNTRY
Worona features an excellent variety of country types with sandy loam frontage soils along the Haughton River, open poplar gum creek flats and heavier soil box hollows, plus red pebbly ridges with bloodwood and ironbark rising to well grassed hillsides, higher slopes and granite outcrops. The property is highly suited to improved pastures and has urochloa established on frontage areas with verano and seca stylo widely dispersed throughout heavy stands of native grassed primarily black spear and blue grass as well as vast area of Indian couch.
IMPROVEMENTS
A modern three bedroom homestead in established garden surrounds, with machinery shed, staff quarters and hay shed plus horse yard and fully equipped cattle yards of steel and timber construction with a vet crush and LCD scales, molases tank and mixer. Haughton River Spear – Power connected to submersible pump in column in River, pumps to 3 x 8500 gal tanks, 1 supplying the house, one supplying the Mt Norman Pipeline and one supplying the Road Paddock Pipeline. There is also a 2000 gal overhead tank at the house, and a 3000 gal ground tank supplying Road Paddock and Crop Paddock.
