Star-gazing is offered not only to house
guests, but to the general public also. Many schools, scout groups, etc incorporate astronomy
evenings into their schedules
The observatory consists of a large shed fitted with a fiberglass dome. The dome has a castor system to enable 360 degree
rotation & a large hatch opens to offer a wide vista of the night sky.
Only a basic knowledge of astronomy is required by prospective operators, as the observatory is equipped with a Celestron 11 GPS-guided telescope.Plus-
