Lowmead is a small rural village located approx 35 minutes south of Agnes Water/1770, 1 hour north of Bundaberg and about 25 minutes to Baffle Creek and the coast. The area consists of mountains, hills, valleys and hinterland flats. The 40 acre property we are offering here is located less than 5 minutes to the south of Lowmead village. When you enter the property you head down hill for a 100 or so meters, you then you cross the dam wall and continue up the other side until you hit the top of the hill and see the awesome views. By the time you drag your eyes away from the view you notice the renovated 2 bedroom plus office railway cottage, the 5 horse stable complex, the round yard, the holding yard, the dressage arena, and the stock shute. Both the stable complex and the cottage are council approved according to the owner. Phone is connected power is not. Power is currently supplied by generator and the use of gas hot water and a gas fridge. The 12 volt pump for the shower and water pressure run off a battery that is recharged by a solar panel. The gas fridge and the 950w generator are included in the sale. The stable area has 5 stables a tack room and a feed room as well as a self contained area with a mezzanine floor. The property is divided into 5 paddocks and has 2 dams. This would suit most people but would ideally suit the horse person as all the horsey infrastructure is there.
