This old Queenslander has just been revamped. Now sporting a new kitchen and bathroom. The good thing about these old homes is the size of everything. The bathroom is so long you could practice your cricket in there. The kitchen is looking smicko with it’s new layout, and yet the old wood stove has still been left in there; just in case; and it does not look out of place. The hidden walk-in pantry is a real bonus too.
The lounge room is my favourite, with the windows on the north letting in the light to reflect on the polished timber floors. there are also 3 bedrooms and a study with polished timber floors. Then there is the enclosed southern verandah, where you really could practice your cricket indoors.
Outside you have a separate laundry, housing the hot water system. You have the double garage with a lean-to workshop and a resident possum. Every farmhouse has a possum. Then up the hill you have the 4 bay machinery shed, with a couple of extra rainwater tanks. These also store water pumped up from the creek, alleviating any water concerns.
There would have to be about 50 acres of rich alluvial creek flats, with the remaining 400+ acres being timbered. There are a lot of fence posts in them there trees. Other than the many waterholes in the creek, there are also a couple of dams not too far from the house. There is a cattleyard right over on the back boundary which needs some tweaking.
This could be a nature block with kangaroo, koala and platypus all purported to be in resident.
Now have a look at the price again, and ring me.
