This cottage was built in 1955 and it was so well done that it doesn’t look much different. The floors are stunning and look like they have just been laid, all cypress pine, which our little wood munching friends hate.

The kitchen is large and has enough room for an old fashioned kitchen table. There is plenty of room for the country kitchen you have always wanted and as an added bonus the original hard fuel cooker is still in place and working.

There are 3 large bedrooms and one of them has a built in robe. At the rear of the house there is a large sunroom or maybe you could use it as a dining room. The lounge is light and airy with a fireplace for those cozy evenings in winter.

Although there is town water the water tank is plumbed into the house and if you have ever washed your hair in rainwater, you will be very appreciative of this feature.

Outside there is the old tennis court and the owner tells me the line marking equipment is still in the original shed, however, the net is long gone. The shed is charming and is approximately 63 m2 and is the classic shed made from corrugated iron and the timber is logs cut from nearby, with a dirt floor.

The property is split into two areas and is separated by the road. The total size of the property is roughly 13 acres or 5.266 Ha. The separate block has its own water meter and a large well with a windmill.

The owner also tells me that the earth is virgin and has never been ploughed.

Yeoval is in a perfect position and is placed in easy driving to Wellington, Parkes, Dubbo, and Orange.
