In 1982 Phil bought the land at Tomerong which in those days was just virgin bush with no roads and no power. Shortly after, all blocks in the Port Jarvis Estate were rezoned allowing Phil to build on his 4 acre block.
Originally Phil lived in a caravan and had the first cottage to lock up stage in 1983.
In 1986 Phil moved down from Sydney to enjoy the peace and quiet and within a couple of years had extended the house to make it what it is today.
In 1994 Phil met Helen (pictured) and her three kids. With four bedrooms and 2 bathroom (including a master ensuite) the growing family can really spread out.
The fenced in-ground pool is a bonus and the established gardens look great in full bloom. The 24m x 6m shed plus double-width carport will easily accommodate cars/machinery/tractors and trailers.
Phil and Helen are on the move now that all the kids have gone and invite you to inspect their cosy home which is now on the market for the first time since 1982.
