Once upon a time on the magical harbourside suburb of Carrington there was a frog prince, longing for a true love’s kiss. Behind his plastic clad exterior were beautiful weatherboards and a return verandah. People who drove past never saw his mighty 505sqm double block backing onto the next street or may have missed his existing side driveway access. Inside, which could only be seen by inspecting, was room after room of bedrooms and living areas totalling almost 163sqm – making him one of the biggest frogs on the island. Under his “Frog Prince Green” internal paint was original dado panelling, decorative cornices, high ceilings and hidden fireplace. However two ugly bathrooms did battle with a very nice kitchen and polished six inch floor boards to win the affection of the Prince’s potential new owner. The Prince never lost faith and knew that someday (TODAY!) his new owner would recognise his inner beauty and feature potential – did I mention the DA approval for a second dwelling and then subdivide the block for those looking for development potential? – and they would all live happily ever after.
