Upstairs, which houses the main part of the house, there are two bedrooms, one of which has mirrored BIR, and both of which can suit a double or queen bed. A large living/dining area (5m x 7m) opens to the fabulous covered balcony (11m x 3m) which has spectacular views over Wallis Lake. Being in an extremely quiet residential area this house may be just what you are looking for.
Also upstairs is an older style kitchen, which is really due for a makeover. This may be done by us soon if this house does not sell quickly or if you feel this is your forever house and wish to buy soon then you shall be able to put your own touches onto the design.
There is a bathroom with a bath and a separate toilet. A laundry is upstairs as well, with room for a tub, washer and dryer.
Downstairs is completely separate as there are no internal stairs. There is a large living and dining area, a good-sized bedroom with mirrored BIR, which currently has a queen bed in it, and a laundry/bathroom with shower and separate toilet. There are plumbing and waste provisions in place if you would like to put a full kitchen at the end of the living area. We have chosen to use the sink in the laundry area as a kitchen sink and there is room for a fridge and microwave here as well, if preferred.
The tandem garage is 9m long. There are two doors to the garage from the living area as we were going to put a second bedroom at the end of the garage and make it a single garage. There is ample room alongside the house for at least an 11m carport if wished, and it could easily be made high enough to house your Winnebago etc..
Whatever your plans, it is very likely that you would be able to use the current space to accommodate your needs. We have left the garage as a tandem one to suit our needs. There is a huge space for a workshop at the end if desired.
The rear yard is flat and has a beautiful leopard tree in the middle, which provides a lot of shade.
Our favourite feature is the huge covered balcony to the rear of the property. The balcony and living areas face west and are privileged to view spectacular hinterland views and stunning sunsets all year around. We do not believe any house has better views of the sunsets than this one! One look at this will reveal how peaceful it is.
To the front and side of the house is off-street parking for at least seven cars, as well as the tandem garage.
If you have elderly parents who would love to live separately downstairs then this may be the house for you. Alternatively, perhaps your older teenagers would like some independence all the while not being too far away —- well, this house, that we call Forster Lake Vista, may be just what you are looking for.
To the front of the house access to upstairs is by a gentle ramp and at the back by a set of stairs.
