Minnipa population is about 200, 600ms from Adelaide, Wudinna is a bigger town 36kms away, with IGA supermarket, hardware store, bakery, large petrol station, hospital, pub, mechanic. Streaky Bay on the coast (pop.1560), is 96 kms away on bitumen road.
