Birragun Buru is Broomes newest and most affordable land subdivision offered by local developers Nyamba Buru Yawuru LTD who are traditional land owners.

The Birragun Buru land subdivision is available to everyone and offers an affordable option if you are considering building a new home or investment in Broome.

The subdivision has 54 housing lots with space for up to 100 homes. There will be three new roads; named Warnangarri (Rock), Nagula (Sea) and Birra (Bush) as well as traditional tree species native to Yawuru land planted throughout.

A park named Yilagarra will be erected to recognise the Bugarrigarra stories for the area with artwork created by the Mabu Yawuru Ngan-ga (Yawuru Language Centre).

Birragun Buru includes:
-43 Single Residential Housing Lots
-8 Grouped Housing Lots
-3 Duplex/Triplex Housing Lots

A variety of single housing lots are available for sale to the open public ranging in size from 420 square metres up to 800 square metres in size with Land Prices Starting from $150,000. The subdivision abuts an important tract of Conservation Reserve jointly managed by the Shire of Broome and Yawuru.

There is the potential for builders or developers to take the opportunity to register an interest for a number of Grouped Housing Lots available within the land subdivision.

The name of Birragun Buru means in the bush and relates to a dreaming (Bugarrigarra) story running through the Conservation Estate to the south of the site.
