Totally unique rainforest home set on 4 acres with no neighbors either side and national park behind.
71 Candlenut has plenty on offer, a true rainforest experience with two rainforest creeks flowing through the property.
The main creek flows right by the home with a birds eye view of the creek from one of the two upstairs verandahs
The home is two storey and newly refurbished, with heaps of inside space on both levels.
Upstairs a large bedroom area opens onto its own deck and connects by hallway to bedroom 2 (Bedroom 2 is the only completely enclosable room in the house, aside from the bathroom)
Adjacent to Bedroom 2 is a large living space with generous storage and both rooms open onto the second raised deck which overlooks the superb creek.
Downstairs offers a large open area to be set up how you choose. Loads of space for living, lounge and dining areas here.
The Kitchen features a local timber benchtop, island bench and brand new gas oven/cooktop.
The bathroom has been restored to a high standard with separate loo(flushing with septic), gorgeous shower nook looking into the rainforest and timber benchtop handbasin. This offering really is true rainforest experience. The house and yard area only occupy a small footprint within the grounds. The forest type is nothing short of superb and with the upclose and personal creek passing right by the home, a plunge pool size swimming hole ie easily accessable only metres from the house.
*Candlenut Road in the Daintree is situated at the base of the superb Thornton Peak. The rainforest here is world class. It captivates and embraces you in its beauty. The variety of species of trees, plants and wildlife is astounding.
