History
The home was originally built for Mr Charles Keirle and family, he was an alderman from 1924-1930 and a prominent businessman in Cairns.

Until the late 1990′s it was still basically in its original condition, and soon after that it underwent major renovations.
The garage was relocated to the front of the property, the swimming pool put in where the garage had been, the 2 veranda’s were added and the front patio was enclosed.

The owners at the time were faithful to the period of the construction with the additions being in keeping with the original house style.
