What the owner loves…
“Eclectus” is a joy to come home to. We worked with our wonderful architect, Caroline Pidcock, and master builder, Phil Daniel to build a home that would capture all the beauty around it and use the best in environmental design. We wake to birdsong and morning light from the east. The view from the master suite is particularly spectacular with time on the private deck a great pleasure be it for breakfast, coffee, a morning yoga session or evening champagne. Natural light fills the house with the solar passive design working beautifully with the seasons- the glow through the living area on a late afternoon in winter is magic. Easy to heat- the floor heating a particular pleasure but also the open fire and reverse cycle unit for the odd very hot day.
