The design was conceived with two aims; to witness the sounds, sights and seasons of nature and to create a place for family and friends to gather and connect. What results is a home with gallery windows throughout, each perfectly framing a slice of the vista. Concertina doors open up and disappear into the design seamlessly bringing the outside in. An arrangement of open plan living spaces invites conversation and communal living. Clever architectural elements subtly divide the rooms and a loft offers a place to work or study, while a studio is ready and waiting for your creative talents.

Within these wide-open spaces is the chance to retreat to complete privacy and peace. The master bedroom is such a place; as you enter your eyes are drawn to the wall of windows revealing a lush green fernery. A frosted glass sliding door partitions a luxurious ensuite, complete with bath and double shower. Two other generous bedrooms complete the sumptuous accommodation with another flexible space that can either be a fourth bedroom or second living area.

The garden is a pleasure playground devised as a series of rooms that flow from lush lawn to tropical forest, a creek filled with blooming Calla Lilies, an amphitheatre with a fire pit and across the bridge an architecturally designed cubby. While retaining the mature trees around the perimeter, the block has been opened up so that kids and pets can be easily spotted from the house in every corner.
