Okay, so other things you MIGHT need know are:
- The main dwelling was completed in 2015, is fully approved by the local authorities and has five years (approx) of builders warranty insurance remaining. It is fully insulated in the walls and double insulated in the ceiling.
- The second, older cottage on the property is approved as a studio and has an approved septic tank. The toilet in the main dwelling is a top of the line composting toilet (research Nature Loo if interested).
- This is a split block with approximately 15 acres at the house site and the other 17 acres (a bush parcel) some 500 metres away to the North West. This is quite common to the Lanitza area and the bush block may be used for cropping, grazing and perhaps a shed (more details available).
- There are four water tanks holding close to 70,000 litres of water.
- Power comes from the sun with a stand-alone solar system with batteries less than 12 months old. If grid power is preferred, it is right at the front of the property with a connection wire running underground to the house. All that is needed is a transformer and connection is simple.
- There is is a fireplace for those chilly mornings.
- There is a water bore drilled about 40m deep which is used to water garlic crops several times a day. Approximately 2000 litres per day.
- The current owner has various crops in place including: garlic, rosella, tumeric and loufas. There are quite a number of fruit varieties including 650 persimmon trees which can be nurtured back to production in time.
