I have a fully furnished double room in my Maylands townhouse available from the 1st of May.

I have lived in this house for almost four years with a few flatmates throughout the years and also periods when I have lived by myself. It is very safe and comfortably furnished, with a side yard area that is soon to become a flourishing garden. The bedrooms are downstairs which makes it cool in Summer and there is reverse aircon upstairs. The house is fully furnished with everything you might need; TV, fridge, relatively new washing machine, plenty of cupboard space in the bathroom and standard kitchen appliances. The room comes fully furnished with a double bed, including linen. The bed is from IKEA but I?Tve been told it is comfortable by people whose judgement I trust! The room has a built-in robe with both hanging and storage space (it?Ts a Harry Potter cupboard – under the stairs).

Who I?Tm looking for: someone respectful, tidy, polite and friendly, and pays rent on time. Absolutely no party animals and no drugs. This is a lovely house to live in but it is cosy so I really need someone who understands how to share a space. In this house, if you?Tre not in your room, you?Tre in the living area. The bedrooms also share a common wall so if you?Tre looking to have visitors over all the time, then please don?Tt apply. That probably means it?Ts not ideal for someone with a partner, so please keep that in mind. I?Td prefer to have someone who is employed full-time and preferably with a different work schedule to mine so that our timing doesn?Tt clash (I’m 9-5). There is verge parking available if you have a car. It?Ts a short walk, about 400m, to the Maylands train station so getting around by public transport is a breeze! In close proximity to the house is an IGA, local coffee shops and the Maylands Rise complex is within walking distance (gym and library). It’d be great for FIFO workers as the domestic airport is 12 mins away.

About me: I?Tm 26 and a working professional. I?Tve lived in share-houses plenty of times before and had people in my house renting so I know the general drill, but I?Tm also looking for someone fun and friendly to share my place with There?Ts no reason it can?Tt be good is how I see it! During the week I live very quietly – bed by 9:30 and up early for a walk in the morning etc. so again, if you?Tre a night owl, we probably won?Tt gel all that well in terms of lifestyle. On weekends I like to catch up with friends, take trips to new places, just generally hang out and relax after a full week. My home needs to be a place of calm, harmony and comfort for me so I?Tll be looking to keep it that way even if someone moves in.
