Hi there. My names Dave and I enjoy candlelit dinners… wait no wrong website. Ive got two empty bedrooms at a great townhouse in Brunswick and so Im looking for some housemates of a non-dickish nature. So lets get the fundamentals out of the way first: The rooms are available from January 15th though it may be possible to arrange to move in earlier. Couples will be considered and Id prefer no pets though it depends on the animal. (Maybe I should clarify. I may be open minded but Im not talking about the animal being one half of the ‘couple’.) No smokers sorry. Not even ‘outdoor only’ smokers. Ive lived on my own before and so already own pretty much all common house furnishings – TV washer kitchenware internet hardware etc.As for me Im 30 a software engineer cyclist rock-climber scuba diver and occasional chocolatier. Im moderately sociable straight but LBGT-friendly respectful responsible reasonably tidy and I think Im a pretty excellent person to live with. The house is a 2 story 3 bedroom semi-detached townhouse with a small courtyard garage air con and gas cooking. Both available bedrooms have built in robes with one room being easily big enough for a queen bed set of drawers etc while the other is bigger still and has an extra alcove for a desk. Its in a great location in the south end of Brunswick with Sydney Rd trams shops cafes etc within 250m Brunswick train station 500m away Supermarkets (Aldi and Safeway) within 500m Melbourne Uni 3km away and the CBD 5km away.Rent is $175/week for the smaller room or $185 for the larger room. (Thats for singles. rents would change if a couple were living in the house.) Bills to be split but would probably add up to around $20-25 each per week as a rough guess for gas/water/electricity/internet.Think youd like to live with me? Let me know! (But be warned Im quite likely to ignore messages that contain no more information than a statement that youre looking for a room. Seriously if youre asking me to live with you Id like to know a little more than just the fact that youre looking for somewhere to live!)UPDATE: One room is probably filled and Im now thinking that Id prefer a single to a couple as the house probably isnt big enough for 4 people.
