We are offering a rent-free room in a large house in New Town. You would be sharing with a 19 yo male who does hospitality work. The room is a double bedroom with built in robes and lots of storage space built in book shelves etc Pretty much you would just need a bed (if you dont have one we could provide one). Electricity is included as is a certain amount of Wireless Broadband.The house is attached to a private Swim Centre. In return for the free rent you would be expected to open the Centre each morning (Mon-Fri) at 6.30am and work in reception to greet and accept payment from our morning customers. (On Saturdays the centre opens at 7am.) You would need to be in the centre at 6am to vacuum the 2 pools and test the chemical balance (and dose with chemicals if necessary.) We would provide you with plenty of training to be able to do this effectively. It is not a difficult or heavy job. After vaccing the pools you would open the centre and sit at the reception desk. It is fairly quiet this time of day so there is plenty of time to slip into the house and shower or have your breakfast.There is further opportunity to earn money by helping out in the centre at other times working on reception closing the centre at night even teaching swimming if you would be willing to gain the right qualification.We are looking for someone preferably long term to move in from the end of January.
