Hi Im Katie and Ive got a 3 bedroom house in Helensvale that Im looking to share with one other person. Im full time professionally employed and I am studying for my PhD part time (so Im usually super quiet with my head in a book or my laptop when Im actually at home). Im pretty tidy respect other peoples property and Im honest. I dont smoke or drink so therell be no wild parties keeping you awake at night. I have a small dog but shes fully house trained affectionate and cute as a button. She comes to work with me so she wont be underfoot all day either. The house is a relatively modern rendered corner property with a back undercover patio and a leafy yard. Im looking for a respectful honest non-smoking and trustworthy housemate who is preferably female (but Im not going to discriminate!) and full time employed. I do not want to share with a couple. The available room is a medium size (it fits a double bed nicely) with a good size built-in wardrobe. It has a phone jack and one for foxtel. I havent foxtel installed at the moment – but Im open to sharing costs if youre interested. There is a ceiling fan in your room and a big air-con unit in the adjoining lounge that cools the room really well. I currently have a bed and bedside tables in there but if you dont need them Ill put them in storage. There is a large bathroom (shower and bath) and a separate toilet adjacent to the room for your exclusive use. The third room is a study. I have my desk in there but there is space for your stuff too. There is only one garage (silly I know!) but there is ample off street parking and it is a safe neighbourhood (I dont bother to park in the garage very often – I often use the space for storage).
