HI All… I couple of weeks ago I found a housemate. Unfortunately my new housemate is now unable to move in due to personal reasons and leaving the area so I am still looking for a housemate. If you were interested before please feel free to try again. Looking for a friendly neat housemate. You will have a good sized room with a built in wardrobe in a good sized house located in a quiet area. The room does not have an airconditioner but it is on the cool side of the house and is well cooled with just a pedestal fan. There is an awesome airconditioner in the living room and when you close everything up the whole house is air-conditioned. Great for sitting on my comfy lounge suite in summer and watching DVDs!Use of whitegoods and appliances included in rent. I have pretty much everything you could need but the room itself is not furnished. I now have the internet connected and you are welcome to share that wirelessly. The house is pretty modern with a near new bathroom and an average sized kitchen. The floors are polished. There is a third bedroom which I am hoping to put a desk and futon in… if you have a computer you will be more than welcome to use this area as a workspace or study space. There is a bus stop across the road which takes you to just about anywhere in Rockhampton but if you have a car there is a lock up garage available for your use.There is a large space under the house so if you need to store stuff or have a gym you are more than welcome to share that space too… its nice and cool and completely sheltered and water safe. Im pretty quiet and friendly… I dont hold huge parties and I clean up after myself. I have a full time job as a counsellor and a boyfriend who might occasionally sleep over (he has his own house so I will sometimes be over there but he does not LIVE at my house). I have two small very well behaved and cute dogs but you wont be expected to look after them… just a friendly pat from time to time will do . Just be warned they do get excited when they initially meet someone but they settle down when they get to know you. Because I already have two dogs I am unable to have a housemate who also has cats or dogs.The room will officially be available from the 7th of January 2010 however I am happy to let anyone have a look at the room prior to then. Rent is $135 per week. You will need to complete the required application form and be approved by the real estate prior to moving in. Rent can be paid online and Im a bit of a stickler for paying it on time so that is important. I am planning to stay in the house for at least a year. My current lease is for 6months but I am going to extend that when the time comes. If you wanted to move in you would be listed as an occupant so you may not need to pay a bond. I would prefer someone who is willing to stay on long term. So if you are interested please feel free to contact me.
