I’m looking for a housemate to share a house with me in the Springfield Lakes/Brookwater area around April / May for a 6 month lease to see how it goes. The house will be of a 3-4 bedroom and 2 bathroom type configuration, and rent will be approximately $180-$220 per week each plus bills. Does this fit your budget? Yes? Brilliant! Please keep reading.

Here’s the ‘me’ part… I am a 28 years of age male, I work full time through the week (office) and work some weekends at a second job, I have excellent job security and a good income so I can assure you that I wont be a financial burdening housemate. I spend an in-ordinary amount of time at the gym on weeknights and am not much of a drinker or party maker/goer through the week either (although there has been the odd occasions). On weekends, its free reign and I don’t mind a drink or few- yet I am not a fan of big house parties and am respectful of housemates as well as neighbors. I am a social person, yet I am a believer in quiet/chill time for everyone. I am an honest, ‘well edumacated’, positive person with a sense of humour :). I am clean living and have currently lived by myself for the better half of 6 years, so I can assure you that my domesticated level of independence is up to scratch and can be considered high- yet not on a level of OCD. I also have an outside 18 month old pup, he’s quite playful, very very rarely barks, clumsy yet quite amusing.

Here’s the ‘you’ part… I have no age or gender preference criteria for a housemate for i’m ‘that guy’ that gets along with nearly everyone. As long as your a relatively clean living person, prepared to do your fair share of house maintenance if required, trustworthy, honest, have respect for other people, have a consistent income and have some form of a personality .. then id say you’d be the prime candidate. As far as house essentials and furnishings go, I own everything that makes a house function from washer/dryer to cookery and couches which you will
be welcomed to use. It is all quite new and good quality so the
house wont be furnished with items you’d expect to get handed down from your Grandma’s-Cousin’s-Brother’s-Newphew’s mate. So basically, if you don’t have much to bring into the house except your own bed and clothes- you’d probably be idea. However if you do have items to bring to the house or a household of furniture, i’m sure that can get worked out too :).
