Two female UQ students seeking a friendly third housemate! Hi, we’re two dance-loving, health-inspired, academically-minded, cheerful and motivated students in our 20s, hoping to start and found a new friendly, welcoming and fun sharehouse close to UQ St Lucia, and Brisbane’s CBD. Our names are Angelique (the blonde) and Nika (the redhead), and we also have a beautiful, fluffy inside-only kittycat named Selene (or Fuzzy for short). We are both full time students, and are ideally seeking another UQ student to join our ranks! We both work only very causally so are looking at places that we could all comfortably afford on youth allowance/austudy alone, so rent will be $150p/wk each, or less! If you’re a student hoping to live close to the campus, dislike your current housing situation or aren’t getting along with your current housemates, come join us and together we’ll create a new fun, warm, welcoming and comforting home. With homemade group vegetarian shared dinners (but you yourself don’t have to be vegetarian, only the shared meals will be), Wii tournaments, household hangman, monthly fitness challenges, and homegrown herbs, berries and veggies from our little pot plant collection!

We’re hoping to look at potential houses and properties from Monday the 10th of June, so if you’re interested, you can have your equal say in house type, location, room size, rent and everything else! We are balancing this with studying for exams and any final assessments, so are definitely willing to take your availability for househunting deeply into consideration – if you can’t make it but we can, we’ll send you photos of promising houses! The reason for the short notice is because we need to move BEFORE June 26th due to a lease ending at the end of the month. We have most household furniture needed, minus a fridge, but you will need your own bedroom furniture. We even have a whole host of organic, heirloom seeds, so if you’d like a new homey experience, and are interested in getting fit and healthy again (we’re only just getting there again ourselves) then say hi, tell us a little about yourself, and come join us in a fantastic new sharehouse!
