The house is located in Durham Street, walking distance to the University of Queensland, public transport (bus or ferry) and shops. It is a 3-storey town house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The bathroom is shared with another female international student. The front of the house is facing a large garden with tall trees and a nice view. The house is fully-furnished: the kitchen has all the utensils; the living area has a dining table, plasma TV and couch; the balcony has a gas BBQ with a table and chairs; the laundry has a new fully automatic washing machine. The room is medium-sized and lockable, with a north-facing (sunny) window looking over to a yard with trees and plants. It has a single king bed with mattress, sheets and pillows; study table, desk lamp, fan, clothes hanger and cupboards for storage; and its own fridge.
We are looking for someone who must be clean and tidy, friendly and familiar with a sharing house environment. The rent of $185/week includes all the bills (electricity, rentals, water, gas, fast Cable Internet (Telstra, 200GB per month), cleaning of shared areas of the house once a week, gardening, basic consumables and once a week free BBQ. No bond, just two weeks of rent in advance as a deposit is required. Short-term or long-term is OK.
