Looking to live close to everything on the inner north side of Brisbane? We are looking for someone to fill the spare double room in our newly renovated unit (ground floor no stairs – yay). My boyfriend Dakoda and I (20 and 21 y.o.) are friendly tidy and like spending out spare time gaming watching movies and generally relaxing. Our ideal house mate would be tidy friendly and around our age. Although Dakoda and I are a couple were not in the habit of making others feel awkward.The room itself is unfurnished and will fit a double bed. There is a large mirrored built in wardrobe but if you somehow manage to fill that there is plenty of storage in the laundry. The unit itself is recently renovated fully furnished (The pictures are of the pre-furnished house – I can provide picture of the furniture if wanted) and has a separate toilet and internal laundry.Its a 15 minute drive to UQ and QUT KG is even closer. There are a heap of bus stops a short walk from the unit including the 599 and 598 which will get you to the Toowong bus stop for UQ (as well as Indooroopilly and Chermside shopping centre). Other buses go to QUT KG and GP campuses the city and Roma Street. The unit is one street over from the Ashgrove shopping precinct which has Coles Woolworths and a heap of other general stores and restaurants. So running out of food wont be an issue. Plenty of on street parking is available (its a very quiet street – even though its close to all the shops) although you can easily walk everywhere.Bond is $515. Electricity gas bills and internet (unlimited ADSL2+ $69.95/month) will be split three ways as they come. The lease goes to the 13th of Feb 2014. The lease prohibits us from having pets couples and smokers. Were not into partying but friends visiting is fine – just no raves in the kitchen. Dakoda has no preference but I would like to live with another female as Ive only ever lived with women (before living with Dakoda that is).
