Room available in a nice place in Holland Park. Room is approx $120 for a single (negotiable for suitable tennant – if you feel that the place meets your needs but you are financially struggling happy to negotiate – may be able to make up difference in rent in other ways – eg: taking on majority of household cleaning?) It is quite a big room and easily fits a Queen size bed chest of drawers and other furniture. Room can come furnished or unfurnished. It is very basic furniture though. The only bill that is shared is the electricity and that is shared evenly. This comes every 3 months and is approx $300 per quarter (maximum $100 per person every 3 months (average is about $60 per 3 months)). Looking for: – Female preferred (as they are generally cleaner!) but a couple would be considered- Students are welcome but please note that internet is not included at the house. I am using a wireless USB modem on the computer as have not had reason to have broadband connected (basically dont want to get stuck into a massive contract and this suits needs.)- Those who dont object to a few musical interludes (like to play music throughout house on weekends – but not overly noisy – the neighbours have never complained!) – People who can clean up after themselves – it doesnt matter if youre not the tidiest person in the world but the effort is appreciated. (However after recent experiences – Wet towels on floor and dirty clothes left in the bathroom will not be tolerated (lol!))You will be sharing with a 26 year old female – my partner is currently away for 6 months so need some help with the rent! And weve been looking at doing this for a while anyways. Currently two cats are also residing with us. They are 1 year old and one 6 month old kitten – very sweet and very entertaining! Unfortunately the lease only permits cats.There is an understanding that you will be part of the household and assist with cleaning on a regular basis. Share houses only work if everyone pulls their weight! I am a very friendly fun loving person and would want the same to live with. I work full time in the city so things would be relatively quiet during the week with weekends becoming more lively with activities and playtime! I like a few wines and good chats and giggles but also like alone time and respect privacy of others. Short walk to Holland Road (approx 200 metres) where the 180 and 172 are frequent to and from the City. It is approximately 800 metres to Logan Road where the 170 175 and 174 again are frequent to and from the city. The bus stops all fall into zone 2 (which is only $2.70 to the city with an adult GO Card $1.35 per trip to city for students!)Will be making this a premium ad shortly but please make contact in the meantime if you can!
