Moreton Island is a sand Island and all tracks through the National park and townships are sand so to get around the Island a 4WD vehicle is necessary, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry….you can book any of the tours available through the Tangalooma Tours desk. If you would not be bringing a 4WD vehicle to the Island you can travel on Tangalooma Flyer Passenger Launch from Holt Street Wharf, Pinkenba to the Tangalooma Resort Jetty. A Resort mini bus can be booked to take your guests and luggage from the Jetty to the door of your Tangalooma Hideaway House accommodation and transfer you from the house back to the Jetty for your return to the mianland.
