—BEDROOM FURNITURE IN PHOTOS IS NO LONGER THERE HOUSE FURNITURE IS—–I am a Canadian 22 year old recording musician recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne and I play in a band here and study music 4 days a week. Looking for another house mate or for a couple to move in to an unfurnished bedroom dont care if youre male or female or how old you are mostly concerned with finding somebody with similar interests/values to me who will pay rent on time! Another musician would be ideal but anyone whos into rock and roll and/or is a bit of a hippie would likely fit in well with me! THE HOUSEThis is a 3 bedroom cottage with built in wardrobes in each bedroom a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom outdoor dining area with a couch and a table in-house laundry facilities and parking for multiple cars in a large driveway at the front air conditioning and UNLIMITED high speed wireless internet! The house is a 12ish minute walk from Schofields train station and even closer to a few shops (liquor store bakery convenience store etc.). The closest full sized supermarket chemist green grocer and fast food restaurants are across the street from Riverstone train station a 2 minute drive or a 3 minute train ride from Schofields. Blacktown is about 10 minutes by train or 15 driving where there is a MASSIVE shopping centre at the train station.Right now there is one room available a second may become available soon should my current house mate move out. Rent is $125 a week per person (as long as we keep 3 people in the house). If a couple moves in we have one of 2 options-you pay $110 per head or you pay the standard $125 a head and can count the third bedroom as your own to turn into an office home studio storage room whatever. Bills will be roughly $20-25 a week including internet and utilities.DAILY LIFEIm not going to mother you with a million rules and I dont care what happens inside your own room as far as cleanliness and having mates over goes so long as youre considerate to whomever else is home. I am big on respecting privacy whats mine is mine and whats yours is yours I wont pinch your food or go into your room unless Im invited in. I do care about cleanliness in shared areas of the house such as the hippie den (our lounge room which is set up as a song-writing room) the kitchen and the bathroom. I consider keeping the shared areas of the house clean shared responsibilities. My guidelines for the kitchen are a good example of what I expect from my house mates and will give you a good idea of whether or not we are well suited to live together. Here they are: Throughout the day used dishes are scraped off and put into a pile next to the sink that is washed every evening after everyones done cooking/eating dinner. If there are three people in the house each person will only have to wash a load of dishes once or twice a week. This will not be the type of arrangement where you only clean what you use Im tired of having house mates who will sift through piles of dishes picking out what they think was theirs because Im the type of person to just wash whatever mess is in front of me so that the kitchen is clean for whoever uses it next.. As long as both parties are pulling their weight on a daily basis theres no reason to be petty and passive aggressive about something as simple as cleaning dishes. A basic amount of consideration from one house mate to the next is the biggest thing with meif you have the foresight to predict what will and wont piss off the people you live with and the maturity to avoid doing things that will cause problems well get along swimmingly. For more information call me ASAP and tell me about yourself!
