Hi we have 1 reasonably large double room available our split-level 3 bedroom house in Pyrmont. Yes its actually a house – with a back yard and a jacaranda tree. In summer its great for BBQs and a quiet beer on the back step. The room fits a double bed nicely or a queen with a little comprimise on space. If youre working in the city this will be ideal as you can avoid paying transport costs and walk to the CBD in ~15 – 20 minutes depending on where you are located. (There are buses and trams too if the weather is bad or are just feeling lazy). There is a supermarket at the end of the street thats open till quite late a bottle shop on one end and a Thai restaurant on the other. We love the area and have been renting this house about 5 years.Were looking for someone who is:- Friendly but mindful of peoples space- Interesting- English speaking (You dont have to be Australian wed just like to be able to have a good conversation)- Honest and upfront (thinking of moving out again? Be kind and tell us early or help with the flatmate hunt!)- Employed (were not against students but if you are still an undergraduate well have less in common).- 20-30-something. (once again were not age-ist. Were just keen to share our house with someone at a similar stage in their life.)You will be sharing the house with 1x Male 30 something. 1x Female 20 something. Both friendly and easy going and can be bribed with chocolate and imported beer.Unfortunately as we are located so close to the city there are no more car space available but weve had flatmates rent spaces in nearby buildings also through gumtree for reasonable prices. (factor in around ~$40pw.
