Hi,

We’re looking for 1 person to move into a room in Artarmon.

It will be available from the 1st of August (although we could move the right person in sooner).

The room is in a large 4-bed/1.5-bathroom house. The back yard has a *huge* lawn that gets a lot of sun. We also have a front porch with a dining table and barbeque, which is perfect in summer.

The house is in a good neighborhood, and only 1 block away from Artarmon train station, which is one stop away from both Chatswood mall and St Leonards/Crow’s Nest. It’s also 10 minutes walk from Lane Cove shopping center. It’s very quick and easy to get anywhere in Sydney either by train, or by catching a bus at either Chatswood or St Leonards. Driving is also an option, as this house is surrounded by heaps of free on-street parking.

We’ve also got a storage room, a big screen TV, and a server that’s currently sharing about 4TB of movies, TV shows, & games over the network. We’ve got a fridge, but one more wouldn’t hurt.

The bedroom itself has 5 windows, could fit two king-sized beds, is quite long, and a bit rustic. It’s probably the most private bedroom in the house.
Bills are split evenly, and usually paid quarterly. We pay for the internet, and electricity.

We’re all really easy to live with, and looking for someone who’s basically the same. For example, when I mow the lawn, it’s so that my other housemates won’t have to. When someone’s dirty dishes start piling up, we’ll point it out, but we’ll never fight about it. When there’s trash to be taken out, no one let’s it build up to “teach someone else a lesson”. We’re all too helpful, patient, friendly, cooperative, and mature for that. And whenever someone moves out, we’ve always really enjoyed having a chance get to know people when they come by to see the available room. If I’m describing how you feel about living with other people too, then you’d fit in here perfectly. Don’t be shy, and give us a call at 0406 947 210.

Grant: Grant works in IT for a large property development company, and is always getting the latest smart-phone or laptop for free from Telstra. He’s from the country and loves to hoon around in his turbo falcon Ute. He’s definitely the most easy going person who lives here, which is great because he’s the one on the lease, and is in charge of rent/bills.

Gavin: Gavin is Grant’s younger brother. He’s in his last year of engineering at Sydney Uni and is very active both in extracurricular activities (such as the club which promotes women in engineering) and as a scouting instructor. He’s recently returning from a semester in Europe, and is usually the one responsible if 80 people are partying in the back yard on Saturday.

Jordan: Jordan is our most recent housemate. He’s from New Zealand and works in IT/Marketing. He loves basketball, and always invites everyone to join in the activities whenever a friend from out of town stops by. Jordan is driven & career minded. He’s very clean, respectful, and is easily the most considerate housemate around.
