Were looking for either a couple or single person to take up the large main bedroom in a modern townhouse on a leafy street in Glebe one block off Glebe Point Road. About the house … the house is a modern 3 bedroom split level open plan townhouse with polished floorboards through the main living area and large marble bench-top modern kitchen. The main living area has skylights which make the house feel very open and bright. The kitchen has a dishwasher. The house comes furnished already with a small courtyard at the back which is perfect for soaking up rays or the odd Sunday arvo BBQ. The house has everything you need including full foxtel wireless internet and fixed line phone. All bills (foxtel phone electricity etc) are shared equally amongst us with the exception of internet – work pays for that. About the room … The room is unfurnished however is fair massive and can fit a lot in there. The room is clean and carpeted and has high pointed ceilings. You will have the use of your own en suite bathroom off the room. About us …. we are 2 single professionals (male and female) who work during the week and like to enjoy our weekends. We keep the house fairly clean and are pretty much low key during the week however enjoy having a few drinks maybe a BBQ or getting out to a pub on the weekend. About you … we are looking for a like-minded person or a couple to join the house. The room has become vacant due to the existing couple in the room deciding to get a place on their own. No students please. Ideally you will be between 20 to 40 in a full time job and looking to rent this place on a medium to long term basis. About the area … We are located on Wooley Street in Glebe which is just one block off Glebe Point Road. The street has plenty of un-metered unlimited parking and spots are always available due to the there being a Church tennis courts park and school on the road. On street parking is easy as but also made easier given the two garage spaces the house has. We rotate use of the two spaces between us. Glebe Point Road is awesome and were only a short walk away from the mighty AB Hotel and Toxteth. Public transport into the city is easy although the city is only a 30 minute walk. When its available … the couple moving out is planning on moving in June sometime so the room will be available then. Dates are pretty flexible but so other earlier or later dates might be able to be negotiated. How much is the room …. the room is $330 a week which can be split in half if a couple takes the room. All bills are extra but are split equally amongst the housemates although those bills never end up being very big.
