The Room
The room for rent is in a 2 bedroom flat in Drummoyne.
It is furnished with a double bed, 2 small side draws, a lamp and a hat rack/coat hanging area. I am happy to get a wardrobe if needed. The room has a brand new mattress with clean linens included if needed.

It is really suitable for someone who is coming to Sydney with just a suitcase!

The best thing about this flat is the incredible views from every room. The flat is right on Sydney Harbour/ Parramatta River and has views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge! Your room also has a great view of the city skyline.

The flat has a lift and is a security building. It has the usual conveniences including a laundry with washer (detergent included), dryer and iron, a large fridge, full kitchen, wireless internet, TV & DVD, Digital Radio all of which you are free to use and a lovely balcony where you can spend hours taking in the view! There is a good quality elliptical machine in the lounge if you want to do some exercise.

Location
At the end of the street (200m) there is a Ferry Wharf on which you can take a ferry ride to the city or along the river. It is really the best way to see Sydney! On the main road (200m walk) you can get a bus which come every few minutes to the city in less than 15 mins.
5 mins walk away is a great pub, restaurants including Moroccan, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and some superb bakeries and cafes.

It is also easy to get to the Macquarie University (30 min bus ride), UNSW (50 mins) and UTS (20 mins).

Birkenhead Point Shopping Centre, a shoppers paradise with high end discount factory outlets and a supermarket, are a 10-15 min walk away.
