The Treehouse is in an isolated location surrounded by the rugged Dharug and Marramarra National Parks, and is nestled right on the water’s edge where you can fish, swim, take the boat for a row, wander along one of the walking trails or just relax on the pontoon. The river is calm and wide at this point, and is one of the Hawkesbury’s most popular fishing spots.

The architecturally designed red-cedar pole house is set high on the riverbank. The panoramic windows and large covered balcony take in the majestic views of the Hawkesbury River and the cliff faces of the surrounding national parks. There are two bedrooms with queen sized beds and high cathedral ceilings. The main bedroom is on a mezzanine level and overlooks the living area which has a combustion fire. Rainwater is collected in tanks and filtered for drinking, and all wastewater is re-used for landscape irrigation.

This well equipped home has a special feel – you’re living with nature overlooking the water and amongst the treetops. Perfect for winter or summer, rain or shine.

The property is not fenced so bring life jackets for non swimming children. You will also need linen, food and drink. Sorry, strictly no pets. Maximum 4 persons.
