There is a room for rent in Kingsford for $225/week with the current lease until the end of February. Residents will not share the room unless they want to with guests. The room is also available on a shorter-term basis.
The room is available to move into as soon as my belongings are cleared out, which can be done in a day. Residents can stay for as short a time as a night or they can stay until the end of the lease period and then may choose to renew it if they want to. If a resident does not stay until the end of the lease period the rent will be higher. Rent for less than a week is $60/night for one person. For an additional person it will cost an extra $50/night. Reservations 7 nights or longer are $300 per week and reservations per month (28 nights or longer) are $900.
The room has two desks, a wardrobe, awindow and a chest of drawers. The room is in a flat of 6 bedrooms, with shared access to a kitchen, laundry, toilet, bathroom (with another toilet) and balcony. The room is 4 m by 2.8 m. Rent is inclusive of all bills — electricity, water and wi-fi. Covered, off-street and street parking is available.
All residents are nice. The broker comes every Saturday to clean, if it is needed.
The location is close to UNSW, Randwick and Anzac Pde but is away from the noise of traffic.
The ad poster is the current resident and is moving out to live closer to work. The existing lease is until the end of February.
