Hi there! We are a postgrad couple living in a four bedroom two-storey house that is a little bit too big for us. We have available a furnished double bedroom that opens up to a large back deck and garden. The bedroom is located next to the downstairs bathroom which we never use as we have our own ensuite and is only really used if we have guests over. If you require a separate study or workspace we can also rent out the smaller room next to it which is currently not being used by us. Our bedroom and study is upstairs so if you like your space and privacy this is the house for you! We live close to many bus routes as well as walking distance to three different beaches between 10-20 minutes walk. The room would most suit travelers students on exchange or people in between houses. The price includes all bills.We are friendly and outgoing but also like our own space. We enjoy meeting new people especially travelers and have a love of beaches and the outdoors more generally. As we are both students we spend a fair bit of time working from home. We have guests over fairly regularly but they are usually small get togethers and BBQs rather than crazy parties.We are looking for a single person or a couple (price is for one person please contact us to discuss a couple rate) who is looking for a place to stay from one week to 6 months. The reason we prefer shorter term stays is because we often have friends coming to stay so occasionally we like to have the room free for them. Our ideal housemate is someone who is friendly open-minded educated and fun who is sociable and outgoing but doesnt need to be entertained by us all the time. We are pretty clean and prefer housemates who have a similar level of cleanliness at least with regards to the common areas. While sharing the occasional meal is fine we prefer if thats the exception rather than the norm mainly because we have specific dietary needs and often eat out anyway.Thats all I can really think of for now! A friend is currently staying in the room so I cant take photos of it right now but will post some soon
