Built in 1946, Blue Horizon Residence is a fine example of the eclectic era of post war art-deco influenced architecture.

Named Blue Horizon after the original painted colour of the front boundary retaining wall, you could be forgiven for thinking its name referred to the vista and location of the property.

The house itself has been tastefully decorated, with care being taken to preserve the era… of design but with the added comfort and luxury of contemporary style where required. From the moment you walk in through the front doors, you will begin to appreciate the feel of the home. Unique original art pieces are found throughout, adding to the luxurious ambience that Blue Horizon was designed to project. The living areas of the house and bedrooms each encompass a specific theme to add to the “wow” factor that has been a continuously repeated word on the lips of many guests to the property.

The gardens around Blue Horizon have been created to be in keeping with the natural and beautiful surrounds that are the Blue Mountains. Flowering natives feature throughout attracting many beautiful birds and wildlife to the property. Cottage style plants also dot the flower beds and grounds to maintain the country feel that the house lends itself to. Fruit trees and a fish pond make an appearance as does a barbecue and entertaining deck, in a garden which is as much functional as it is relaxingly beautiful.
