Architecturally award winning, Bear House, is one of Killcare’s original weatherboard cottages, which has been lovingly restored and extended into a large 5 bedroom family home, with study, two bathrooms and two reception rooms. The new extension was designed by local award winning architect, David Boyle, and has water views over Pretty Beach. Adjacent to the house is a walking track which takes you through the bush on a 5 minute walk over the hill to Lobster Beach, looking out to Palm Beach. Pretty Beach is a short drive to Hardy’s Bay and Wagstaffe, as well as Killcare Beach and the house has a large landscaped garden.
