We can check the local amazing schools nearby and go for a drive and find all of the cute local cafes and things to do nearby. That’s easy. And we can tell you how many bedrooms etc.
We want to tell you things that real estate agents don’t tell you. The things we know about our home that we want to share with you.

1. We love waking up everyday to absolute peace and quiet, sleeping in til 10am is a breeze. The only sounds you hear are the birdcalls in the valley as nature begins to arise. We love waking up every day in the Valley.
2. We love coming home from our busy work and school days to our peaceful home. No noisy cars or neighbours, just our own peace and quiet. The girls do homework, I write and play my guitar. It’s so nice to come home everyday. Everyday is a good day.
3. Everyone is complaining about the heat, we have a couple of fans going and this house is perfectly cool. We could turn the air conditioning on but it’s not often necessary. The summer breezes flow through the open screen doors from front to back of the house and it’s always nice and cool.
4.We love those days we call the “Gorilla’s in the Mist” days. When it’s raining or it’s been raining and the valley is covered in mist. We feel like we are in a treehouse in the jungle. It’s so beautiful. We even have a tree stump that actually looks like a Gorilla up in the nature reserve in the backyard.
5. The summer days are cool, while everyone else is stinking hot, but we also love our Winter season. We try to keep the fire going as much as we can because it does get cold in the valley. There is a plentiful wood supply, forever. The house gets toasty warm and cosy. It’s such a beautiful, ambient warm feeling and we all snuggle up in the lounge room on the couch and watch a good old Netflix family movie.
6. We love laying out on the deck on a mattress in the summer holidays, looking at the stars and reading by candlelight. The stars in the Valley are always so clear and so beautiful.
7. We love entertaining guests, and because the decks are so large we can entertain in any weather. We can have a romantic candle lit dinner for two with million dollar nature views, or we can have a noisy fun dress up party for 100. Candles and jazz music OR disco lights and hip hop and rock. The choice is yours. We’ve had so many fun parties here.
8. We love it when our kids have friends over to stay. There is plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen is huge so we all make pizzas together. Popcorn and movies in the lounge room for all. There is plenty of room to play in the backyard. Relays and musical statues, kids games and dancing, and badminton is the best, so we don’t lose a ball in the valley. There is plenty of room for setting up a marquee or 5, and doing a BBQ and beanbags in the backyard. Fun, fun sleepovers and parties.
9. We’ve had so many fun birthday parties here for our kids and Christmas entertaining is just the best. Everyone is welcome! No limit on space that is for sure.
10. I love to exercise. I call it my driveway workout. Hill sprints on the driveway and up to the watertank at the cut-de-sac. The road is lit so I can do this at night too. I set up my music on the front deck, yoga mat, squats, planks, lunges, push-ups, fun. This place makes you healthy.
11. We love the fresh valley air. It must be so good breathe fresh air daily.
12. I love to play my guitar. When I play my guitar I never have to worry about bothering anyone, no one will hear me. I can sing and play my guitar til 3am if I want to. Fun!
13. I love too go running in the neighbourhood, safe, fresh air, good challenging hills, no traffic. It’s also not to far if you feel like doing a beach run to go to Burleigh or Currumbin or Tallebudgera Creek. Best of both worlds, country or beach?
14. We see some beautiful wildlife here, birds, wallabies, possums and bush turkeys. The red headed parrots and kookaburras are my favourite.
15. I love my kitchen, there is so space for everything and everyone. I love baking with my girls. when I am cooking family meals I never feel far away from the action, the kitchen is absolutely central in this home. sunday Roast is my favourite thing to cook and eat on the beautiful deck.
16. Friends joke that someone would buy this house just to come and sit on our deck and drink a beer or a glass of wine everynight. What a great way to end the day.
17. I love to wake up and have a coffee on the deck while I check my emails, we have full internet services. Its such great way to start the day, or if you were into yoga, oh my goodness, this would be your absolute divine home. Everyday begins beautifully.
18. We are not a TV watching family, the valley is too peaceful for that white noise, but we love movies on netflix and we always have music on. The inspiration room has bluetooth speakers to the deck. There are 4 antenna TV inputs in the home, wasted on us. But they are in two of the bedrooms, the games room and the lounge room if you like to watch TV. The music is great for deck parties. Dancing on the deck is fun.
19. I love the end of Spring and Summer when the Frangipanni trees are in full bloom. The beaches are so close. After a hot summer day at the beach it’s so nice to come home to the cool valley, just a 10 minute drive.
20. I love getting in my huge spacious shower to wake me up. I also love having a relaxing bath upstairs with candles and relaxing music. the girls love their bathroom, plenty of room for two girls to get ready in the morning with a double sink.
21. I love that the house is so easy to keep clean. The floors are all tile and timber. Easy to vacuum and mop. the timber floors are hardwood, they can be sanded a gazillion times, they will last forever. We put the floors down 7 years ago and have never had them sanded, they are so durable, but when we move out for the new owner we are happy to have the floors re sanded and polished to sparkly new for you.
22. We used to have a bar and pool table in the games room. That was fun, plenty of room for a full size table and no walls in the way, and all close to the entertaining decks. Just open up the bi fold doors to the BBQ and deck area. Put in an infinity pool, if you like, the prefect spot right in the backyard and decks and entertaining area. The pool would be part of the party. We never did it, we didn’t want the maintenance of a pool because we all surf and go to the beach often. If a pool is your thing you could definitely do it.
23. My favourite time of the day in this home, is the twilight hours when the sun is just setting behind the hills. The deck is inviting. The views, the sounds, the fresh cool valley air. Life feels amazing, no matter what kind of a day you’ve had.
24. I love to write. This home gives me the peace to be creative. There are no distractions. This home inspires me. My daughters have their won art studio upstairs for their creative passions; painting and art. The deck allows us to be creative outdoors too, without worrying about making too much mess. We are inspired by the nature and beauty of our surroundings.
25. Our cat Merrick, loves this home too. He is independent and is King of the Valley. He is free to roam and has many favourite sun spots to laze in. We have had Merrick since a little kitten, he’s 8 years old now so we do worry about him having to leave his beautiful home. He is friends with all of the birds and the possum, it’s very cute.
26. The thing I love most about this home is how safe I feel.

We absolutely love this home and we are making a big family sacrifice to sell our home, so we can then move to a property that allows us to follow our equestrian horse ranch dreams.
