The cottage (125sqm) is constructed of pine logs (painted) and features high (3m) ceilings lined with pine and some “Dado” railing in the bedrooms. Two large bedrooms and two smaller ones suit several guests.
The large “osburn” wood heater and the wood cooking stove with a water tank are ample heating. An LPG water service is mostly used. A second wood heater is near to the main bedrooms.

Through big windows, from the living room, there is a broad western view, over the close timber and to the distant green pastures. Wallabies graze on the “fresh” grass near the cottage.

Water – A clear mountain spring is harnessed and filtered through 2 in ground tanks then pumped to a “header” tank (concrete 110,000 litres). Then gravity fed to the cottage.
Electricity – A 13 KVA generator (diesel) provides power sufficient for a welder. It has a remote started in the house.
Furniture – Mostly the chattels in the house remain.
Machinery/Tools – Include a “Bobcat”, tractor and implements can be purchased.
